I'm a Physics PhD student from Newcastle University interested in Cosmology, Modified Gravity and Large Scale Structure, supervised by Dr Danielle Leonard.
My research involves testing gravity on cosmological scales by looking at single modified gravity models as well as agnostic parametrizations for modified gravity.
Check out the group pages for the Cosmology and Quantum Gravity and Astrophysics and Observational Cosmology groups!
At the moment, I work on novel infrastructure to test whole classes of modified gravity theories. I am using the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) method to provide an alternative to scale cuts which minimizes information loss when testing linear parametrizations of modified gravity theories.
As part of the DESC collaboration I am working on an Emulator for the non-linear matter power spectrum boosts in Cubic Galileon using the Hi-COLA software.
I have also worked on constraints for 4DEGB gravity!
Before joining Newcastle University, I completed my Master's degree in Physics at the University of Cambridge. I worked on the master's thesis "Palindromic Universes: Alternative Solution by Matrix Representation" at the Kavli Institute for Cosmology supervised by Dr Will Handley.
